Team India praying for Yuvraj Singh’s recovery: Sehwag
Indian opener Virender Sehwag on Tuesday wished teammate Yuvraj Singh, who is undergoing treatment in the US for a malignant tumour between his lungs, a speedy recovery.
“I have heard that Yuvraj is taking chemotherapy. We are hoping he would be fine and fit when he comes back. We all are praying for him,” Sehwag said. Read more

London Olympics not to drop Dow Chemical sponsorship
Despite the resignation by a senior member of the sustainability commission on the Bhopal tragedy issue, organisers of the London 2012 Olympics have said there were no plans to drop ‘Dow Chemical’ as the sponsor of the wrap around the main stadium.
Meredith Alexander, who is one of 12 commissioners of the Commission for a Sustainable London 2012 watchdog, resigned from her post, citing concerns about Dow’s relationship with the company responsible for the 1984 gas disaster. Read more

100th ton will fetch Sachin Tendulkar 100 gold coins from MCA
Sachin Tendulkar will be showered with 100 gold coins by the Mumbai Cricket Association if he completes his much-awaited 100th international century during the third and final Test match between India and West Indies commencing November 22 at the Wankhede stadium.
“MCA President Vilasrao Deshmukh has decided that the association should give Tendulkar a 100 gold coins if he completed the 100th international century at his home ground,” Nitin Dalal, Joint Secretary of MCA, said on Saturday. Read more
