Vidya Balan is now ‘Bombaat Balan’
Actress Vidya Balan has been rechristened “Bombaat Balan” by her fans after her sensuous avatar as Silk in her forthcoming movie “The Dirty Picture”.
“Bombaat Balan, people have started calling me Bombat Balan! I found it quite funny the first time, but now I am used to it. Great!,” said the actress in an interview.
After having been seen in graceful and classy roles like “Parineeta” and “Paa”, Vidya suprised everyone when she decided to play a sex symbol in Milan Luthria’s “The Dirty Picutre”, but it was not a cakewalk for her.

KBC winner Sushil Kumar turns down Big Boss offer
Sushil Kumar, the first to win Rs.5 crore on “Kaun Banega Crorepati 5″, has turned down an offer to enter the reality show “Bigg Boss” for the sake of his image as an youth icon.

The format of KBC 5 is same as KBC 4. The only difference is that the contestant will have to choose only one level at any value. The timer runs for 45 seconds until that value. Prashant Bhushan beaten up for his Kashmir comments
Senior Supreme Court advocate and Team Anna member Prashant Bhushan was beaten in his chamber by a youth allegedly for his Kashmir comments.
Supreme Court lawyer-activist Prashant Bhushan was roughed up at his chambers here by a youth in full view of TV cameras on Wednesday. The youth barged into his chamber and started beating him up, before being overpowered by others present in the room, TV visuals showed.
The two attackers claimed that they were from Sri Ram Sene. The attackers told Times Now that they were provoked by Bhushan’s comments on Kashmir. One of the attackers has been arrested by the Police. Bhushan filed an FIR against the attackers.
Home minister P Chidambaram has condemned the attack on Prashant Bhushan. He said Delhi police was looking for other persons who were involved in the attack.
Bhushan has been taken to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital.
In an earlier interview, Prashant had reportedly said that the Kashmiri people should be given ‘azadi’ if they don’t want to live with India. He had also reportedly recommended that withdrawl of Indian army from Kashmir.

Bigg Boss 5 in 2011 is the fifth season of the Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss, which will be aired on Colors from 2 October 2011 to 7 January 2012 with Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan as the hosts.
Since May 2011, there were media reports that Salman Khan will be hosting Bigg Boss 5. In July 2011, it was confirmed that Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan will be hosting the show together.
